💊 About NEET UG Exam

The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate) or NEET-UG is India’s single national-level entrance examination for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Veterinary, Nursing, and Allied health courses.

It is conducted annually by the National Testing Agency (NTA) under the guidance of the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India.

More than 20 lakh students appear every year for this pen-paper (offline) test across 500+ cities in India and abroad.

🧾 Eligibility Criteria (as per NTA Rules)

• Mode: Offline (OMR-based)

• Duration: 3 hours 20 minutes (200 minutes)

• Total Questions: 200 (180 to be attempted)

• Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany + Zoology)

• Marking Scheme:
  ✅ +4 marks for each correct answer
  ❌ –1 mark for each incorrect answer
  ⚪ 0 mark for unattempted question

• Total Marks: 720

🧠 Exam is divided into two sections per subject (Section A – 35 Qs, Section B – 15 Qs).

📚 Subject-wise Syllabus (based on NTA & NCERT)

NEET UG is conducted in 13 languages, including:

English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu.

🗓️ Candidates must select their preferred language at the time of form submission.

📝 Application Process

• Admit card released 3–4 weeks before exam on NTA NEET portal.

• Candidates must carry:
  🪪 Admit card print-out
  🧍 Valid photo ID (Aadhaar / PAN / Passport / Driving Licence)
  🖋️ Passport photo (as uploaded)

• NEET is conducted across 500+ cities in India and 14 international centres.

• No request for centre change is entertained after the final allotment.
